Visiting Lakes Superior, Huron and Michigan

Regular readers of this site will know how much I love bodies of water. This summer, I was lucky enough to be able to visit Lakes Superior and Huron, meaning I’ve now seen all five!

Lake Superior turned out to be utterly magnificent. Here’s a view from Pukaskwa National Park in Ontario:

Then later, we pulled over the side of the road to watch the sunset:

When the sun finally set, all I had time to do was snap it from the car window:

A couple of days later, here’s Lake Huron viewed from St Ignace. In the distance you can see Mackinac Island:

I will always love the Great Lakes. The clarity of the water at Pukaskwa will live with me always.
